About: Cece Frankhuizen coached the first synchronized ice skating team, the Icettes, at Ice Station Valencia from 2001-04. She started the team with coach Michelle Puluti. The original Ice Angels team was formed in 2005 by Frankhuizen and coach Susie Richardson.

The current Ice Angels Junior Team members outgrew the Ice Angellettes Tot Synchronized Formation Team (2008-15) and became the Ice Angels Junior Youth Team in 2016. Coach Frankhuizen anticipates starting up a tot formation team shortly.

The Ice Angels team has evolved over the years, beginning in 2005 as Tot Synchronized Formation, then progressing to Junior Youth Synchronized Formation, to Youth Synchronized Formation, and now competing as a Senior Youth Synchronized Formation Team.

In January 2016, another Ice Angels team was added, resulting in a total of two teams: Ice Angels Senior Youth Formation (Age 9-13) and Ice Angles Junior Youth Formation (Age 6-10). Each team has 10 members. (One team member skates on both teams!) Many former Ice Angels continue to skate, having joined Ice Station Valencia’s Synchronized Senior Youth skating team, the “California Girls.”
