The Ice Skating Institute of America Education Foundation was founded to enhance the educational opportunities of ISI members by encouraging skaters to make athletic as well as educational achievements. To achieve this goal, the Trustees award several four-year scholarships to ISI skaters for study in universities, colleges, and technical schools throughout the United States. This year, the Foundation created a new one-year scholarship for skaters currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution.
Scholarship recipients are announced each May at the Annual ISI Conference, with a presentation ceremony at the ISI World Recreational Team Championships in August.
