Bowie Ice Arena Wins 2017 ISI Conference Championships

Bowie Ice Arena in Bowie, Md., is the Overall Team Champion of the 2017 ISI Conference Champs held June 3-4 at Doug Woog Arena in South St. Paul, Minn.

Hastings Civic Arena in Hastings, Minn., earned the second place spot, followed by Line Creek Ice Arena, Kansas City, MO, in third place.

Approximately  200 competitors from 19 teams from eight states competed in this year’s event for a total of 584 performances. States represented include: Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Garin Couture, 4, from Bowie Ice Arena was the youngest skater and Lee Chandler from Stephen C West Arena and Susan Valett from Bowie Ice Arena were the oldest skaters at 52.
