ISI Winter Classic: Gateway to Skating Fun in Missouri!
Don’t miss competing in the 2025 ISI Winter Classic, your gateway to skating fun in Missouri!
Top 4 Reasons to Participate
1. You Love to Skate!
Is there really any other reason? Just in case there is, ISI Winter Classic kicks off Feb. 14 — Valentine’s Day. What better time to showcase your love and commitment to the sport you adore?
Scheduled Feb. 14-16 at the St. Peters Rec-Plex in St. Peters, Mo., Winter Classic is also a great way to skate into a new year of competing, catching up with old skating friends from across the country and forging new friendships.
Test and entry deadline is Dec. 13. Stay tuned to the ISI website for registration information.
2. Events Galore!
ISI national competitions offer skaters a wealth of fun events to choose from, and Winter Classic is no exception. Here are some of the event offerings at Winter Classic: Artistic, Couples Spotlight, Dance, Ensemble, Family Spotlight, Figures, Footwork, Freestyle, Interpretive, Jump & Spin, Kaleidoskate, Pairs, Production Team, Rhythmic, Solo Compulsories, Solo Spotlight, Special Skater, Stroking, Synchronized Teams, Team Compulsories, Team Surprise and Tots-Delta.
3. Midwestern Hospitality at the Rec-Plex
Midwestern hospitality is in full swing at St. Peters Rec-Plex, host of the 2025 event. Located approximately 30 miles west of St. Louis, the Rec-Plex, has hosted numerous ISI national events over the years, most recently ISI Worlds in 2019, and participants can expect a friendly environment and well-organized event, with many hands contributing to its success. Featuring three NHL-size rinks, the state-of-the art Rec-Plex also features a natatorium, indoor track and workout facilities, making it the crown jewel of its community.
4. Louis — and Its Free Attractions
St. Louis is your gateway to adventure — and free attractions! It has more free tourist attractions than any other city in the country, aside from Washington, D.C. You won’t pay admission fees at the history museum, science center and zoo, all located in the 1,300-acre Forest Park, one of the largest city parks in the world. St. Louis is also brimming with award-winning restaurants and other world-class attractions, including the iconic 630-foot-tall Gateway Arch, the highest man-made monument in the United States. If you haven’t done so already, you’ll want to take a tram ride to the top of the arch, where you’ll be able to see breathtaking views of the mighty Mississippi River and other famous landmarks.
