A Touching Gift for a Beloved Friend

Freestyle 4 skater Tiana Uding, 13, from Skatetown Ice Arena in Roseville, Calif., created this picture in honor of a family friend, Gail Barber, who was ill.

Gail, a lover of Boxer dogs, was a figure skater when she was younger and enjoyed watching Tiana’s mom’s Facebook posts chronicling Tiana’s learn-to-skate lessons, practices and events. Sadly, Gail died several days after receiving Tiana’s lovely gift.

“I can no longer see you with my eyes, touch you with my hands, but I will feel you in my heart forever.”
