Arkansas Skatium Crowned 2020ne Adult Champs Winner
Adult Skaters Light Up Vegas With Their Enthusiasm!
Almost 100 skaters from 23 rink teams from nine states (Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon and Texas) descended on the ultimate “big kid” playground — Las Vegas! — to compete in the 2020ne ISI Adult Championships.
The 22ndannual event for adult skaters, ages 18 and over, took place Oct. 9-10 at the Las Vegas Ice Center.
With a total of 443.5 team points, Arkansas Skatium of Little Rock was crowned Overall Team Champion and winner of the Erika Amundsen Trophy. South Suburban Sports Center, Littleton, Colo., finished in second place with a total of 234.5 team points and the Las Vegas Ice Center, with a total of 142 team points, was awarded third place.
“It was a small event, especially for Las Vegas, but what it lacked in size, it well made up for in enthusiasm!” said ISI Skating Programs & National Events Director Kim Hansen. “Those that came were very happy to be back to in-person skating and once again enjoying the camaraderie so emblematic of adult competition.”

The 2022 ISI Adult Championships is scheduled Oct. 8-9 at South Suburban Sports Complex in Littleton, Colo. Test and entry deadline is Sept. 1.
